Rules are essential in community associations for the same reason that laws are important in society. Rules provide certainty and order, clarify provisions found in the governing documents, and protect commonly-owned resources and property values. But unless your rules are enforced in a uniform and effective way, they will not accomplish the above objectives. This presentation offers guidance on how to enforce rules, conduct hearings and maintain order in your community.
